Swimming again...Yaay!!!!

The Christmas holidays are approaching therefore everyone is trying to complete their assignments before the holidays. So every time I go to the library to do some work the computers are all occupied.

As university has really stressed me out I have taken up swimming again to release my stress because if I don’t I’m going to get spots all over my face. So I make sure I go swimming at least once a week, I have got to confess it feels amazing to be swimming again. 

Apart from that, this week is strictly doing assignments and reading up for me, no chilling at all. L

Reflecting university life!!!

The interview filming is officially completed.  I met up with the group on Friday and carried out the interviews, it took some time to do because we couldn’t stop giggling. We found it odd because we were friends however it was fun and good practice. Now all that needs to be done is copying on to a DVD. 

 LPD lecture was interesting today, we did something different. At random students were called to the front of the class room and asked to reflect they time at university and how they have progressed. I was one of them. I think university has definitely taught me a lot; in terms of knowledge, skills and experiences that I can use in the work place.

Snowing...noooooo!!!!

The week has just started and it is absolutely SNOWING..not good because i am scared i will fall and embarrass myself.

Anyway I received my HFRM result yesterday which I am very happy with as I was very concerned that my result was not going to be good.

I have made a ‘To do list’ because there is so much to do but I am losing count, I have set myself a target to complete all the tasks by the end of the week. Hopefully this target will be achieved.

Had a day out with friends today, really enjoyed myself but enough fun for the year 2010.

Week 10

There was no lecture this week for LPD, but were given the time to carry out the interviews. Me and my group have not yet prepared therefore we have scheduled to do the interview on Friday. Enough time for us to prepare by going over the questions and preparing the answers. I think it will be a lot of fun carrying out this task, looking forward to it.

The deadline for LPD is approaching and for the next three weeks my full attention on completing the portfolio to the best of my ability.  Luckily I have no other deadlines before Christmas.

Back to university...

Back to university after a long week off, therefore a lot of work to catch up on. I have made a start on Managing Contemporary Organisations assignment; it is a long one therefore a lot of hard work has to be put in to it.  Apart from that, I have not forgotten to enjoy myself. Met up with a friend who i have not seen for ages as she’s moved to London, had a good catch up over pizza which was a lot of fun.  

Also had a busy weekend at work, as Christmas is approaching the shopping centres are busy with crazy shoppers.

Week 9....Interviews!!!!

LPD was quite interesting this week as we were given information on what is required of us to complete the interview filming task. In groups of 3, we have to interview each other by asking the set questions by Bob. It is going to feel a bit weird interviewing friends but I think this task will be a good experience for when we leave university, because for me interviews are what I find the most difficult in the process of getting a job.  Consequently I need as much experience now before going out in the big bad world of work.

LPD...

Hey, because I was ill on Monday I didn’t attend LPD. However I have checked WEB CT to see what the lecture was about and to make sure I have understood the task correctly I will also be asking my friend when I next see her. I will definitely be attending tomorrow. Up until now I am up to date with all my tasks, I think this is the only unit that I have done all the tasks on time..way before the deadline, the reason being I’m enjoying it quite a lot and also it is helping me in job searching.
